I have been married to David for 38years with a daughter, Emma. My early life was spent in Leeds with my parents and siblings. Following school I trained as a nurse at The General Infirmary at Leeds. I left Leeds when I married David and held successive roles in Nursing, and Risk and Quality management in healthcare until I retired in 2011.
My parents nurtured me in the Christian faith and my father, a Reader, first introduced me to ministry when he took services. The link between healthcare and my faith has been a strong one, with healing ministry being prominent and celebrating life events [both joys and sorrows] with those whom I met.
