Our Sunday Services

10:30am Communion Service

10.30am Communion Service

with children’s groups (for 3-16s)

Our 10.30am service draws on the rich heritage of Anglican liturgy to focus our hearts on God, through His word, prayer and music. Spanning the generations, our 10.30 serves those who engage with a more traditional service. We love having children join us for part of the service before joining their Sunday School or youth group.

Whether you’ve been involved in a church for years or just beginning to explore Christianity, you’ll find a welcoming community eager to support and encourage you. We strive to create a warm and inclusive community where everyone can encounter Jesus and experience His grace and love. After the service, our church family enjoys spending time together, forging new friendships and engaging in meaningful conversations over a cup of coffee.

Live translation is available at this service, via your smart phone.

4pm Contemporary Service

Our contemporary service is a lively time full of Bible teaching and band-led worship. We strive to apply the Bible’s teaching to every aspect of our lives and engage with the world around us. Our desire is to equip young adults with a solid foundation in God’s Word, empowering them to impact their families, workplaces, and communities with the love of Christ.

Coming from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures, we aim to provide a place for building community and authentic relationships as we navigate life’s joys and challenges together. We invite you to come as you are and join us as we worship the risen Lord Jesus together, empowered by His Spirit, through his word.

Live translation is available at this service, via your smart phone.

No 4pm service on Sunday 28th December.

Midweek

Following Jesus is central to our whole lives – not just on Sundays. We believe it is important to meet together in small groups during the week to encourage each other, hear from God’s word and pray together. Small groups are a great way to get to know a few people in church better and to apply the gospel to our lives. These groups are one of the primary ways we care for those who call St. Augustine’s their church.

Most small groups meet on Wednesday evenings, in the church from 7pm. Groups for women meet on Tues & Fri mornings.

We also run a ‘Memory Café’, a time for community and support aimed at older members of the community and their carers. This happens every Tuesday in the church, 10.30am-12pm.

We host a parent and toddler group led by Daniel’s Den every Thursday during the school term, 9.30-11.00am. It’s a great opportunity for under 5s and their carers to meet at a safe and fun space. There is plenty to get involved with including crafts, free play and a song time.
