To hire rooms in the St. Augustine’s church building, including the church hall, please complete the following form. A member of our staff will get back to you with further information about how to complete the booking process.

Available Rooms

St. Augustine’s hires out the following rooms for private events. We are not obligated to hire out these rooms and therefore reserve the right to refuse to hire out the rooms for events which conflict with the Christian values of our church.

If you would like to tour the rooms, please complete the hiring application form and we can arrange a time for you to visit.

Hall

The hall has a maximum capacity of 80 people. There are 13 long tables [183cm x 69cm], 8 short tables [92cm x 69cm] and 80-fold out plastic chairs. These will not be set up at the start of the booking but are available. The hall connects to the Hall Kitchen and the Meeting Room.

Hall Kitchen

The hall kitchen can fit a maximum of about 6 people. It contains a fridge and freezer unit, a 6-hob stove with oven, a kettle, an urn and cupboard space. We do not provide food items. The kitchen is primarily suitable for making and serving refreshments and light food. It is not an industrial kitchen for catering.

Meeting Room

The meeting room can house a maximum of 20 people. It includes a large table with 8 chairs. Additional chairs can be provided from the hall. Hiring of the meeting room includes access to the Church Kitchen.

Main Church Room

The main room of the church can fit a maximum of 150 people. There are 90 chairs available, arranged in rows similar to pews. The chairs can be rearranged but must be returned to their original locations. The room contains an organ and a piano, as well as speakers and audio tech which can be used with written permission.

The main room is directly connected to the Church Kitchen and the Meeting Room. Hiring of the Main Church Room includes access to the Church Kitchen.

Church Kitchen

The church kitchen can fit a maximum of about 4 people. It contains a small fridge unit, two small urns, a microwave, two kettles and cupboard space. We do not provide food items. The kitchen is primarily suitable for making and serving refreshments and cold food. It is not an industrial kitchen for catering. It is connected to the main room of the church.
